Today is a bit of a bumpy ride. There is some hot tension, there are some shadow problems that wanna come out, some honesty that cannot be filtered, and at the same time, an inner aggression working relentlessly to try to remain cool, calm, collected, and detached – but the sky is calling for us TO attach, for the purpose of A challenge to learn. We cannot learn else through challenge; and today is kinda touching on that.
It’s not even 5 am as I write these notes, and I’ve already been experiencing it. What a day it is already. Right? Again, it all depends on the aspects to your chart, but if it’s not affecting you in the same way, be patient and mindful of others.
That said, let’s take a dive into what’s going on in the sky.
Moon in Libra squares Saturn in Capricorn .5
Related to this aspect are challenges of being a bit too difficult on the self. Placing impossible expectations upon ourselves, and self-effacing when we don’t consider ourselves to measure up. This can be a relatively depressing energy, depending on how it touches our personal charts, and we may find ourselves being a bit more objective to a ruthless angle. There is a cold, calculated kind of approach that may be taken, especially when things get emotional, and we might abash ourselves for being “irrational” due to feeling our feelings. There can be a tendency to restrict ourselves from experiencing our feelings, and limiting the release of them. There may be an energy of shame around working with others, and we might find an inner conflicting of the heart’s desire to connect with others, and work together, and yet an underlying feeling of disgust from this thinking, and the idea of being totally independent, and only for ourselves. It’s not the most amazing energy, but it is present. And we can utilize it to our advantage if we allow ourselves to find an ease. If we can be mindful of how we are treating ourselves, and others, then we can double down into focus, and dedication, all the while being open to how we feel about things. The more we deny, the more we resist, the bigger the combustion. Stay connected to yourself.

To add to the pile, we may feel some tension growing within. Our drive to action may be fueled by reactive emotions, if we are not careful. This can lend itself to feelings of frustration, impatience, and low tolerance. We may ultimately feel short tempered, and there can be difficulty in properly measuring equality; not really having time for measuring equality of any given situation, and likely catapulting when our needs are not met or responded to in a timely manner. The key to this is to stay rational, to have an outlet for any aggression that comes up, to be mindful of any impatience, and to pause before responding in any situation, to consider where your reaction is stemming from (it might not even be about the situation), and if this person or whatever that is on the receiving end, deserves the outburst that is on its way out. Find that balance between recognizing your own tendencies, and the situation at hand.

More ammunition in the arsenal; this aspect is just picking at us to drop down into our fears, and anxieties. But I’m not necessarily encouraging us to resist – things are happening, or coming up, or being presented to you for the triggering reason of having you get to the core of it, and heal it. This aspect might be encouraging us to measure the power dynamics in our relationships, and our world in general; ultimately for the reason of getting a clear picture of what’s actually going on in our world, so we can properly measure what discrepancies are occurring allowing us to take appropriate action to create a balance. So, in a safe environment, let what comes up, come up. Face it, and understand it. And then see how and why it’s even coming up – what situations are at play that resulted in this. And how can you shift or adjust so that you are doing a service for yourself through this healing?
Moon in Libra conjunct Mercury in Libra (continued from yesterday)
This aspect was mentioned yesterday, and it’s still here today, but in a slightly stronger form. As said yesterday – because I did take an except from my previous blog post/episode:
We are more prone to being completely honest with our feelings, and we may find ourselves reactively speaking without thinking. How we think, and what we say feels very aligned with our emotions and our being; but at the same time, it’s really great to sit a moment and ask yourself if what is being said, NEEDS to be said. Is this battle actually necessary? Is anyone other actually affected, or is it just your own pride? Libra energy allows us to fully measure and gain understanding; so do that – measure, but don’t just measure your emotions, measure your emotions with practicality.
Moon transits to Scorpio at 11:32 AM PST
As I write and prepare this, the Moon is in Libra. Same notes from yesterday apply. However, at 11:32 AM PST, the Moon is transiting into detective Scorpio’s territory. We all have our own understandings based on observations from looking at the sky and our world. Well, in my experience, Scorpio Moons essentially entice the more odd ones to come out. And what I mean by odd ones, is not a weird or unconventional person. But a person who refuses to do their shadow work, who refuses to face their problems, and heal; who chooses to sit in their own shit – a phrase I use to mean, when a problem arises, or uncomfortability hits in life, they just sit in their remorse, like a loop on repeat, just sitting in their own puddle of tears, versus allowing the lesson, accepting the lesson, affirming the lesson, and taking action or whatever is needed to be taken, to get back on their feet – this is what I call, sitting in your own shit. And I want to be clear – I do not think that this idea of an “odd one” is in any way or form actually related to the Scorpio sign per say. But I do think that the energy of the Scorpio is naturally investigative, and naturally encourages the triggering shit TO come up, resulting in people not being able to run, and reallllly sitting in it. And then they react aggressively – especially because of the Mars influence over Scorpio – being it’s natural ruler.
People who refuse to face themselves tend to be more influenced by moon crossing through Scorpio, in my personal experience. And any destructive behavior caused tends to be originated from wounds and triggers that were never healed. This isn’t to make the Scorpio moons scary whatsoever, that’s not what is being said; but if you keep your eyes open, you might notice a change in behavior around others, especially those more stifled up.
When moon transits Scorpio, we often find ourselves able to see and experience a different side of people. We may suddenly become more aware of our relationships with others, and we may find ourselves questioning the relationships, the purpose of the relationship, and what that other person may truly want out of this. There is a sort of investigative/detective kind of lens that is worn when the Moon in in Scorpio; and we suddenly become attuned to other’s ulterior motives. We may intuitively discern our own emotions on a more heightened level; and the ability to truly connect and heal is rather strong, should we be open to it.
While it may be enticing to explore the depths of others around us, and become speculative of their intentions in our lives (and maybe for some that is exactly what is needed – the exploration of the relationship dynamic and benefitting factors); but I truly do encourage utilizing this moon to deeply connect with the self, and dig deep into what has been or currently is driving you.
Why are you within the relationships you are in; why are you pursuing what you are pursuing. And then even deeper; what wounds have you yet to heal, and why? What problems have stemmed from the vine of problems you have ignored? What infections need facing, and addressing? And then even further, how has ignoring these issues, wounds, or problems manifested into your life?
What we try to reject and hide, often will manifest outside us and around us; that’s why (imo) it’s said, you cannot run from your problems. Because subconsciously, you will manifest them until your world is created by them.
On a more pleasant note, this moon is a great time to feel the deep connection you share with those in your life, and yourself. As well as look into the deeper meanings of your passions. A lot of people dismiss their passions as they get older – it was just a dream, it was just a fantasy, yeah that’d be great, but I mean come on….reality…etc; but the fact remains that it is still a passion in your heart. Why is that? Where is that stemming from. Connect with it.
